Colonial Mast Campground being located in Naples, the heart of the Lakes Region, is a great starting point for your vacation. If you just want to relax, enjoy the lake and our facilities, then you need go no further! If you want to do some exploring of all the area has to offer, we are centrally located between the beautiful Maine coastline (1 hour away) and the majestic White Mountains of New Hampshire (45 minutes away).

Douglas Mountain - Sebago
15 minutes from Colonial Mast in neighboring Sebago. Good hike for the whole family, little ones too. See the stone tower at the top and views of the ocean (small fee to park).

State of Maine - Gray Wildlife Park
Just a short 20 minutes from Naples. A great place to bring the family for an outing. See all the animals native to Maine: Moose, Bear, Deer, Bobcat, Mountain Lion, Fisher and Racoon to name a few. Bring a picnic lunch.

Portland Headlight - Cape Elizabeth
An hour to our east, don't miss seeing the historic Portland Headlight, one of the oldest lighthouses in the U.S. (commissioned by George Washington). The lighthouse is situated just south of Portland in Fort Williams Park.

An hour NE of Colonial Mast, visit L.L. Bean Flagship store in Freeport, where it all started. Visit their main store and the factory outlet across the street. Lots of great outlet shopping in Freeport, along with restaurants and chowder houses.
